Aztec-printed everything is everywhere! Shorts, skirts, tops, bags, dresses – you name it. Oftentimes I see these stuff in vivid, bold colors; maybe that’s why they are such statement pieces. But what if I take a turn and wear Aztec in pastels instead? The printed dress in soft pink and black I have here is unlike your usual colorful aztec. While making sure to keep the subtlety of the colors, I added more items that emphasize and contrast my tribal theme.I remember wearing this dress to a for-adults-kiddie-party a couple of weeks back. It was Disney Princess themed and in an attempt to go with it, I said I was Pocahontas. Haha, pinilit. To support my “native american” look, I added a feather necklace and a leaf bangle. If I were to take this all out, I’d wear fringes too. However, since I’m already trying to twist and turn, I used more contemporary looking items such as the satchel bag, the sunnies and the loafer pumps.
