I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, you’ll never go wrong with good company + good food.

Good food? NOLITA (North Little Italy) of Bonifacio High Street Central provided that for us.

The restaurant goes with an industrial interior. With the exposed ceiling and the picnic tables, I’d say it’ll make you experience fast-food with an ambiance. I actually protested that the place isn’t the most suitable for our planned gift giving activity (too late, I know) but fine who can resist authentic NY style pizzas?

By the way, I just read that the people behind Nolita is the same group as the one behind Borough at the Podium. Not surprising at all.

Each slice is huuge. They say it’s about 20-22 inches in diameter. I am not very much a pizza fan but surprisingly I enjoyed my slice. I did not feel bloated and guilty afterwards – the feeling I also get with burgers, I don’t know why.

I’m sorry I’m a terrible food blogger – I can’t remember the names but the one I got (the first pizza photo) was Chicken Parmesan. I guess you’ll agree, Nolita does not scrimp on the toppings. However that equates to each pizza costing around 250 pesos. Or maybe it’s all about the crust. Nolita rule? Eat with your hands. Fold the pizza then stuff it in your mouth. 🙂

How nerdy can my friends get? Three requested for a book, two of them wanted some self-help on how to make big money. Guys, please lend me those!!!

And of course, Aivi got her TOTE. 🙂 Now you know where the title came from. Words by Ian Laxamana.

That’s it! What’s your favorite Nolita pizza? If you haven’t tried, visit them at 7th Ave. corner 29th St. South, Bonifacio High Street Central, Bonifacio Global City. Then maybe you can take a stroll at the park afterwards. 🙂
