Something Borrowed
The following photos do not necessarily reflect my feelings as of the moment of writing.
I was all-smiles here, thinking the sun will continuously shine for the next days or so. A few days later, a majority of the Philippines is once again submerged in flood that we all can’t seem to get rid of. With all the issues in the government today, I can’t help but feel the loss and regret. Our taxes should work for us Filipinos who are suffering from calamities year after year after year and not for a selected greedy few who use the money for nonsense extravagance. But I’m sorry, corruption is another story.
On a lighter note, office work is suspended today. This buys me some time to work on some hobbies.. and some work outside of work. Since I have a few hours to spare, I thought of finally posting these photos from last week. For today’s post I’m wearing something borrowed. Can you guess which one?
Dress : Forever 21 | Button – Down Polo : Forever 21 | Belt : Forever 21 | Necklace : SM Accessories
HYPE THIS ON LOOKBOOK!
I am almost wearing Forever 21 from head to toes knees save for the spiky necklace I got from SM Accessories. This is something I would wear to a corporate meeting. It is youthful but still very appropriate. I have previously written a post about corporate dressing, have you checked it out yet? Link is here.
My something borrowed is the printed blue dress that I got from my sister’s closet! It’s so fortunate that she is only a year older and we have the same size in clothes and shoes. We almost have the same taste in stuff also – lucky! She’s more of a make-up junkie though. You can view her website here. She does not blog about cosmetics but she runs a site for your condominium needs. Hope you can check it out.
So I guess we’ll all be stuck in our houses for a couple of days (tomorrow is a holiday!). Hope this gives time for our cities to recover. I’m praying that there will be no casualties from this unfortunate natural disaster.
It is still raining like crazy outside, please stay safe and dry. In the meantime, why not look around maricardedios.com if you have some time to kill. Hihi. 🙂
