Things I do in Photoshop

I have a confession: I am a certified Photoshop-er. Oh wait, you know that already?

I started learning the art back in 2011. I began with simple adjustments of levels, curves and brightness, with dodging and with burning, with clone stamping. I was then forced to learn more when I was doing my architectural rendering for my thesis in 2012. With the help of Alex Hogrefe’s tutorials, I have improved. We have all witnessed the end of 2012 a few days ago and I’m guessing most of us now are already returning to our usual routines after that wonderful holiday (hello 8:30-6:15 work!) but allow me to do a little rewind as I have some umm, left-overs from last year.

As you may or may not know, I ended my 2012 with a short little trip. While pictures from the trip itself (pictures I have yet to sort and edit) require another blog entry, let me give you a glimpse of the dinner my boyfriend, his cousins and I had one cold Baguio December.

2012 In Retrospect

December 31, 2010, I started a blog. It was about the same time as this, I was writing down a post with the sound of fireworks in the background. How nostalgic.

Two years later, gladly, I still have a blog. Although I have an entirely different direction with blogging back then – I vowed to make it a personal diary and never a fashion blog – this and that blog served a similar purpose, to give me something to look back at at least once every 12 months as a reminder of the wonderful year that passed. So with only a few hours left for 2012, let me do just that tonight. Trip down to memory lane, anyone?
