A Quick Guide to Corporate Dressing
I started ditching my shorts, shirts and slippers when I graduated from the University a year ago and began investing in polo tops, pencil skirts and black pants when I started working for an architecture firm in the Metro. I think I (and most of the people I know and am close to) am in the phase of my life when I need to start proving myself and making myself known in my profession. Possessing the right talents and skills is the formula to success, along with numerous other things a young professional must consider – projecting a good self-image, for example.
Peplum is In
Peplum is in.. or should I say, still in. I remember the first time I bought and wore it as a top, I didn’t even know it was called that until I saw it on almost every local fashion blog. After that, my peplum collection grew with the addition of skirts and dresses. You can also see the proof of its popularity with its presence in a lot of TV shows today. Now I wouldn’t be surprised if clothing stores will come up with different varieties of this very loved fashion item.

Hello, Summer!
Ahoy!
It seems like everyone is headed to the beach these days – or pool or anywhere um, water-y. It’s Black Saturday after all. I don’t know why it has become a tradition to go to the previously mentioned places during Sabado de Gloria. Aren’t we supposed to reflect and pray and repent instead? Or that’s just my bitter self talking. I can’t help but long for a nice splash in the beach! Cold days are gone, summer is coming.
